| Özet |
| Green public areas play important roles in the formation of a habitable environment and responding to the recreational needs of individuals. It is important to plan green public areas systematically to have physical, social, economic, aesthetic, and ecological benefits, and it is important that these areas should have the size and qualities needed to meet the urban population. The public and green areas of the City of Karabük were evaluated within the framework of the qualitative and quantitative features of the neighborhood. Data were obtained regarding the requirements, population, character, usage density, and accessibility of the neighborhoods. Then, a questionnaire was prepared for the purpose of developing a park that consists of 40 different questions selected from these neighborhoods.
