I am currently working as an Associate Professor at Department of Computer Engineering, Karabuk University in Türkiye. My research interests and activities lie at the interface of computer science, artificial intelligence, and operations research, focusing on metaheuristics, parallel evolutionary algorithms and ensemble learning models. From October 2021 to October 2022, I had the opportunity to serve as a visiting researcher at the Computational Optimization and Learning (COL) Lab, University of Nottingham thanks to TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme. During this period, my research was conducted under the supervision of Professor Ender Özcan, and I am currently working as a Research Associate at the COLLab.
